My very first post in this blog!!
Today was a memorable day as it was the last day of school and I started this blog to keep me remembering this day! I do have a blog in MSN Space hence I will be blogging twice a day if I can!!
Yesterday, our class had photoshop workshop the whole day. We were ask to design the cover page for next year's organiser. I did a image of a rose and an angel. I got to say sorry to Vanessa for making her irritated by me because I was actually asking her lots of questions about the functions of certain tools. Adeline and Vanessa Joseph actually suggested that our class to have a chalet during the holiday. After school, I had dance practice for today's concert. I went about searching for people to open the door and was asked to shift from one place to the another for rehearsal. I realised that I was sweating when I was about to change to my clothes for hip-hop!! After practice, while walking towards the school gate, I actually saw some teachers playing soccer and netball with some other people.
Today was the last day of school for us! Firstly, we had our End-Of-Year Mass where the priest actually set two birds free in the hall and both birds flew round and round trying to get out from the hall. Later on, we were being told that our Form-Teacher Mrs Lim will be retiring this year and I was impressed by her as she taught for a total of 36 years!! Certificates were awarded to teachers afterwards and we the dancers, left the hall at 9.28a.m (Haha, I actually remembered the time) to change into our clothes and have our early recess. While taking my clothes with Nat, Doro and Kar from the locker, there was a misunderstanding between a teacher about one of us. It was actually just a misunderstanding!! We went to the dance studio and left our things there before going for our recess. Saw Mdm Rahimah and Mdm Hassanah in the canteen. Went to change afterwards and started practicing since the people in hip-hop don't need to put on make-up. After recess, we went back to class and take our report book and exam papers. Did a survey about Rockwall Climbing and I proceed to hall to collect some cert. I only got Merit for my NSW Maths and I am not satisfied. It has been two years but still no improvements. Went with Karissa to search for Nat and Doro. All dancers proceeded to the backstage to prepare for the performance. After the cheer competition, the concert started. We had an Indian Classical, Chinese Dance, Indian Modern Dance, Fashion Parade, Ballet, Indian Dance and lastly Hip-hop. 'Music please' and the music started. Went out from the curtain and started dancing. Saw Miss Khoo and lots of students staring at us. She was back to watch us perform. I almost slipped when doing the dance in Part 1 and forgotten a step in Part 3! We were rushing for our final pose and the music stops.. Next up was prize presentation. We got our No Beta Record Cert and a prize for winning the 'ACES DAY DANCE'!! Lots of announcement was make and was asked to stay back for CCA leaders meeting and to re-stream. I just don't understand why 32 students could not be placed in a class. Don't the school know that if without 8 subjects, my dream will be ruin and others too..
After changing, went back to our homeroom and watched the powerpoint prepared by Rachael. Many were touched including me and we cried. I cried twice in a day, can you believe it!!! Cleared my locker and went back home. Now blogging and during these school holidays, I will be taking a break and rest as I am feeling very very tired..
