MID-YRS in 5 days time.. Frankly speaking, I am not prepared.. Sometimes you feel hopeless.. like there's so much things to do but so little time!! Oh well hopefully I can fully utilise my time wisely.

This week I bang against a door and trip over a table in front of my econs teacher and friends.. So embarrassing.. I bet I am not at the right state of mind at that point of time.. Is such an uncommon thing on friday when everyone were forced to leave school by 1pm so they can set up tables and stuff for the polling station. The school always encourage us to use their facilities and study in school, but this time round, we are not allowed to stay, isn't it something really different?!?!

I missed dance.. We officially stepped down on 3rd of May.. Miss everyone and the trainings:(

I am shocked that I actually take note of this yr's GE even though I don't have to vote.. You just feel that it concerns your country and not forgetting your future so I have to know abit about it. Rallies are not often held in Singapore and you can see how supportive the residents are towards different parties.. They literally can cause traffic jam at areas such as potong pasir when their rally is held at Hougang. This shows how Singaporean are keen to show their support:) Just wanna say, there is always winners and definitely losers. Even though you might lose this time but that doesn't mean that you will not win eventually. An apology is insufficient for the people to have faith in you, you have to prove to us that you will not repeat the same mistakes. GE is officially over, hopefully our country able to progress with these group of leaders.

Udder's Ice-Cream.. Unexpected surprise when our instructor decided to bring us out just for Udder's Ice-Cream.. We were just a bunch of kids boarding the bus.. headed to Serangoon Gardens!! Today marks the end of the SYF journey!!

We have been practising really hard for the past few weeks, especially during these 3 weeks.. Have to come back every single day during March Holidays just to practice.. That thursday was dedicated to UCC rehearsal which spent some time familiarise the stage. We went for tau huay later on.. Last friday, we practiced in the hall with the air-con on.. it was so nice dancing under air-conditioned area!! Miss Tan'sss were so sweet as they bought us bananas and sewed our name on each of our towel that they gave us. These few days have been really tiring!! Had dance prac on mon and yest. On Mon, our juniors baked cupcakes for every one of us, not forgetting our instructor too.. and they made a beautiful card for everyone of us!! You guys are really SWEET!! As for yesterday, there were photography society members down there helping us to take photos.. and Ruben commented that there were paparazzi around. Our instructor came down to watch us rehearse and commented on it.. Of course that are lots of areas for improvement and we have been constantly trying to improve on it. Went with Fung Yee, Sixian, Fiona, Vanessa, Yi Lin, Jia Wen and Daniel to Compass to buy make-up stuff.. Spent quite a long time trying to choose make-up. Reached home around 10plus and was really lethargic. Couldn't sleep until 1 plus.. Woke up at 5 plus and was so eager to head to school to prepare.. Reach around 6.15am and Sam Seow was sitting there alone.. The school was so damn quiet.. Took our baskets and costumes and headed back to the canteen to tie our hair.. Started curling my hair and had dance class at around 8am. We closed the shutters and rehearsed in the hall while there were some ppl peeping at us. As usual, we prayed in a circle and Mr Dan gave us a card each.. Back to fusion house for make-up.. 2 hrs gone and headed down for lunch.. The canteen was packed with people and they were staring at us, as if we were some sort of creatures.. HahaXD Rehearse another run at 11.30am before setting off at 12pm. Was in the bus busying packing, passing, arranging stuff.. Reached UCC and I was doing stretching while listening to our dance music. Was waiting along the holding area and we saw the judges and Mr Gn walking out from a dressing room.. We were busy getting into character.. It was our turn.. Everything went well for me though except the last part.. Could feel how the others felt and we cried on stage.. The atmosphere was really intense and I could sense the fear, anger, frustration and confusion. It was my first time that I cry while performing.. That feeling was good because I could feel the dance.. We had positive feedbacks from our teachers-in-charge and instructor.. AWESOME!! Had a chance to view the other JCs item.. I thought TJC item was flawless and the dancers were really elegant.. We took photos with our Principal, Vice-Principal, HOD of Aesthetics, Instructor and teahcers-in-charge.. Not forgetting taking pics with seniors and dancers from NJC. Bus ride to SRJC was FUN!! Talking, laughing... Took more photos and removed or make-up.. Cleared FH and headed to canteen for results.. We were anxious.. We had Gold.. NJC had Gold, Hwa Chong had GWH.. Only 2 skools had GWH this time round.. I was surprised with TJC result though.. Cried when hearing our results.. I thought that we had touched the audience based on the feedback and expected more.. I spotted minor mistakes here and there on stage that could have been prevented if we were more alert.. But heard that they had increased their expectations so this result was actually good:) Oh well, my sis asked me the first question when I got home was ' So how, did you get gold??' My answered was 'YES!!' This SYF journey had been really tough.. We started training right after our promos and there have been new members joining us.. For instance, Umairah, Fiona, Vanessa, Ruben and the new batch of JC1s. I am glad that it seems like we are now part of this big family and we have the same passion which is love to dance.. Not forgetting the intense dance practices before heading off to Taiwan for SRGCE which drained us alot.. Taiwan trip taught me alot.. The way to express ourselves, the way we walk, how far we should looked etc. Dance Camp where we had sharing session with NJC, Henderson and Hwa Chong ppl and they commented on the areas for improvement which is beneficial for us:) Lots of dance trainings in 2011 which were really fun!! Wanna thank my parents, sister and teachers who show their concern about my involvement in dance.. In addition, those who helped me along such as my beloved dancemates who often correct me. Our teachers who often provide us with lots of banana and our instructor who often tell us the truth about how we fare. In addition, wanna thank fung yee, jia wen, sixian, joycelyn, ziqi, jane, emeline, melody, priscilla, sam seow, benita who helped me with my make-up.. This has been an wonderful journey with lots of tears and sweat.. I am glad that we put up a great performance.. Even though we might not get the highest honour, but in my heart, I think we are the best of all:D Stay positive and I shall now try to catch-up on my studies:) Signing Off, Emily

Common test finally over..

I AM SCREWED!!

Shall not think about it and should just focus for the upcoming SYF!! 18 more days to SYF and this coming week we will be having intense dance practices.. March holidays has been fully occupied by both lectures and dance!! I no longer can feel the dance.. I need to find it back asap.. Time is running out..

Thurs mark the end of our common test and we (glenda, elijah, anthony, ruben, stanrly, sixian and me) went had lunch at Pepper Lunch.. Went library later on and decided to search for some geog books to read since I will be so bored during the weekend. Had dance prac on fri and my body is aching!! Daxco meeting later on that lasted till 8.30pm.

Went out with the daxco on Sat to buy stuff.. It was our first official outing, YEAH!! Ate at Pasta Mania.. and went around searching for stuff!!

Shall start doing my hw..

Today marks the start of Common Test..

GP was okay I guess.. Just couldn't finished my AQ.

Its down to 4 papers left.. woohoo!!

Tmr will be Econs and Geography.. Content content content... Hopefully I am able to structure my answer fast and finished them quickly..

Wed will be chemistry.. I am looking forward to it.. Haha, it sounds weird that I am looking forward for a test that I haven't prepare at all but I just love chem:D

Thurs will be maths.. Topics that I dislike will be coming out but who cares, I am gonna own you:)

29th Jan: Geog STAR, Econs STAR and Dance Performance at Laselle. Was having gastric.. Ouch, thank goodness Glenda had gastric pills:) Studied and went with the other dancers to eartland for Lunch before travelling to Laselle.. Watched the dance performance.. Saw Michael.. We continued walking and shopping for CNY clothes at Bugis Street.. Bought this Jean's top.

30th Jan: Met the other dancers at Hougang before heading to UCC.. Waited for quite some time so I took out my geog book and started reading.. It was raining heavily and a cup of Latte keeps me going. A new environment, need some time to adapt and be used to the stage but I love the stage.. The spotlights were really strong and I was sweating profusely after a run.. Couldn't hear the rest except myself.. Now lots of changes had already been made so we have to work even harder..

31st Jan: There was Geog make-up lesson that day and Sixian and I almost fell asleep in class.. We were just too tired.. Thank goodness our CT didn't scold us, felt bad when I told her that I prefer dancing than studying and she thought that she was the cause of it:) Hip-hop prac later on for CNY performance.. Awesome bunch of ppl.. We were practising catwalk in the fusion house.. A short discussion before we end off the day:D

1st Feb: Was having stomachache and then gastric.. Missed PE.. It hurts when I took my geog drq test. Felt so much better and I went for in-line skating.. It was so funny looking at Ruben screaming for help.. HahaXD Make a new friend and she was a GP tutor:) There was Movie Under The Stars later on but I decided to skip it.. Special thanks to those who ask whether I was ok, I am alright now:)

2nd Feb: Woke up early and headed to school early to perpare.. Make-up, warm-up, recap and off we go.. We were playing backstage when the others were moving into the hall.. Dance-d Awkward in that sense that I had to act like a kid for this dance item.. Hard to believe I did it:) CIP at Ling Kwang Home.. We had to think flexibly due to the stage constraint so we just try to feel one another.. Communicate with the elderlys before heading back to school. It was CNY Eve, Daddy and I went to fetch Grandma and my cousins over for reunion dinner. Our neighbours joined us so it was very crowded in my house.. Received red packets, thanks alot:)

3rd Feb: 1st day of CNY.. Visited Grandma's house and then my uncle's house..

4th Feb: 2nd day of CNY.. Visited my Auntie's house

5th Feb: Visited Melody's house.. Ruben, Haizer, Anna, Zafran, Shawn, Jonathan, Jin Le were there.. Eat and played games.. Cheat.. Guessing the no.. monopoly deal..

7th Feb: School and Dance

8th Feb: I caught the flu and the water tap was on for 12++ hrs.. My nose was so RED!! Was coughing and sneezing and felt warm and cold.. Checked my temperature and was having a slight fever.. Was deciding whether to go home or not but decided to stay for Econs Test.. It will be so troublesome if I need to go for the make-up test.. Was feeling lethargic and giddy while doing the test.. Felt like sleeping and couldn't think properly.. Didn't finished the paper.. Home-d, took medicine and had a good rest. Thanks to those who care for me:)

9th Feb: Had CCA Bazaar + Hougang CC Performance.. The 10 of us followed Miss Tan HC.. We were so colorful.. While walking there, we whine and whine, want this and that.. Haha, hilarious.. Felt like Mother hen leading a bunch of noisy chicks.. Warm-up, rehearse.. felt that the stage was like uneven.. Eat.. Putting on make-up and we were asked to study... It's good that you have chem teacher in charge so that you can have consultation while waiting to perform.. Thanks to Miss Tan FX. Performed.. The VP came and support us:) Thanks alot!! Last performance for 'Haven't Lost Control', good job to everyone!!

10th Feb: Our Econs tutor gave us a pen as Valentine's gift.. AWESOME!! XD Was having a headache after my GP tutor throw us a question for us to ponder.. Was falling asleep during Geog lesson and Li Lin drew a nice flower on my hand.. I knew that it was me when my Geog tutor say someone has to search on this question.. Called my future juniors..

11th Feb: Glenda keeps on saying that my tutors are as lame as me, oh well, I definitely win them though, haha!! My maid flew back to Indonesia, all the best for her and her family:) Dance practice.. Measurement for costumes.. Our juniors were looking at us dancing..

12th Feb: Camp Aspire Make-up.. I like my group B6.. It comprises the Dance, Band and Podium Exco. We were quite bonded and can communicate with one another.. Decisions were made easily and fast.. Played the Rat Race.. I was being blindfolded.. Had to walked up the stage and find pieces of paper and down the stage to piece the pieces of paper together.. Scary feeling but I trust my teammate:) I heard Miss Tan saying 'She can't sprain her ankle'.. She was so nice and it reminded me that I need to be careful since SYF is coming soon.. Discussion and lunch break with a given task. The girls started the discussion while the guys went to buy bubbletea and chicken rice for us.. Our proposal was on the project titled-A gift of happiness. 11am, M2-2. Elijah joined us.. Continue discussion with the guidance by Miss Tan FX.. Debrief.. Studied with the guys (Ruben, Fathur, Anthony)

Oh my, what's with my health recently.. I am feeling lethargic and tired easily, common test coming soon, I can't afford to be sick.

I hate it when people keep on staring at what I do, ask me what I do.. Can't you guys just mind your own business?!?!

Can't you all feel a sense of urgency.. I don't want us to be regret for not putting in enough effort to achieve our aim..

This week is hectic..
There are HK visitors and Elijah and me lead a group of 8 ppl to tour around the school..
Got back Econs Lecture Test, what a bad start for the year BUT IT WILL DEFINITELY GETS BETTER!!
Almost dozed off during Maths lesson, was so damn tired.. Coffee Please!! :)
Oh no, I can't logged into ASPIRE.. Can't complete my GP HW..

I feel weird dancing the CNY dance.. Firstly because of my height, secondly, I think the dance doesn't really suits for the event.

Yesterday I was feeling really sad.. I cried.. My Mum is in the hospital, something happened to her.. She was fine when I saw her on tuesday.. My friends could sense that I am not alright, I am not as usual cheerful and happy.. I have been busy with school and dance, didn't have any chance to visit her.. But I am going to do so later in the evening.. Shall buy her porridge:) I feel so bad, she's in pain yet I can't do anything for her.. My friends were by my side encouraging me, I was not in the mood to prepare for chem test, I just wanted to sleep so that I can forget about everything that is going on.. Elijah made me laughed when he showed me the CNTM video and commenting on their eyes.. HAHA.. Chem test was screwed up, we studied the wrong topic.. But I am confident that I can score full marks for the other questions.. Dance later on.. Usual stretching, conditioning etc. Was telling myself that I should just focus.. My instructor wanted to step on my shoes because he said it was too white.. But I took poles to block him.. My chem tutor was so random.. She wants me to dance solo.. I gave her lots of excuses and ran away.. We practice our SYF item in the hall. Already used to people staring at us.. Every individual dancer have a common goal, minimum a gold with honours and nothing less, lets work harder, we can do it!! :) I believed things will get better!!

Why am I complaining?!?! Crap, I don't want time to pass by so quickly but I am overloaded with schoolwork.. I am currently rushing the dance video and I am so confused with the order.. I shall do what was being given..

Was excited for Friday's Outdoor PE Programme since we don't need to study!! For our class, it was the first wave.. Met Fathur, Khairul, Ruben, Geok Ting, Sixian, Traci and Glenda at Pasir Ris Mrt Station before taking a walk to Pasir Ris Park. Finally reached the meeting area.. Discussion and set off for the first game... It was some blindfold game that requires communication..We competed with 2A06. 1st set: CT + a female student, 2nd set: a male student + a female student. 3rd set: a female student + a female student and a male student + a male student.. I played the 1st set all thanks to Ruben.. Teachers were arguing whether I can breathe when the trash bag was covering my eyes and nose.. Lots of noises and can't really hear what's going on.. I lost to Sabrina but it was fun:) Next set, ruben played and sze ying was directing him.. He started by crawling when the ball was a distance away.. We were laughing non-stop.. HahaXD We lost this game 2-1.. Our cheer was the roti prata cheer.. not that related to our class but who cares.. Went to the next station.. Game 2 requires 5 pairs to pass different sizes of ball from 1 place to another and they need to toss the ball using mats.. We competed against 2A06 and 2S10. Was at the side taking photos and showing support!! We won this game and broke the record!! YAY!! Game 3: Napfa Challenge: 10 students were involved and they have to do standing broad jump, 20 crunches and turn 10 rounds around the spot.. Ouc class competed against 2S10 and 2A06. I played this game, it was so giddy since we have to run and turn on uneven platform.. I fell on my butt and Ruben pulled me up..Tks:) Our class won with Sixian running and grabbing the red flag.. Miss Lam wanted one representative to do a split.. Was asking Ruben to do it so that he can impressed the rest.. In the end I did it but no points were awarded since we won the game.. It's so cool to do split on sand.. Nice feeling!! Last game, it was captain's ball and we competed against 2A06 again! Everyone took turns to play.. We lost to them but was awarded te same points.. Debrief and off for lunch.. Headed to White Sands for Subway and then we went Tampines to search for digital watch.. Glenda and I bought 3 watch and both of us plus Sixian and Geok Ting went Tampines 1.. We were looking at clothes and commenting at what suits whoever.. Went Topshop, New Look, 2 elements... Came to uniqlo and I said something like this whole row of clothes suits my CT.. It's her style.. Then we saw our CT and A6's CT in the shop.. Seriously, next time you got to look around before saying anything.. Went TIMES to buy a 2011 planner.. Took bus 72 with GT and Sixian.. Home Sweet Home.. Was feeling so tired and giddy that I fell asleep in the evening.. Need to start work soon.. There will be 3 tests and 1 quiz next week.. Hopefully I will do well:)

DAY 2: TIME TO MEET YOUR TEACHERS:)

Recently, the weather has been cold..

Lessons offically started.. For Chemistry, it was the same tutor.. A bigger class as compared to last yr, new friends joined us for lesson:) Lesson was ok, learnt something new today.. PE.. ran 2km.. Today's weather was so nice for running.. Haha, love itXD Miss Lam is our PE teacher for this year.. took height and weight.. LUNCH!! Econs tutorial later on, a different tutor from last yr.. Productive learning session:) GP lecture, I love GP lectures.. It was so cold that it stimulated my brain to think, haha:) BREAK!! Geog Tutorial..different teacher from last year two. I somehow 'volunteered' to be the geog rep without a choice >.
I am really scared that she will start sticking to me.. I dislike people who only knows how to make use of others.. Please stay away!!

1st day of school for the busy year:)

It was the 1st day of school for the busy year.. It had just been talks after talks.. A nice smile and hug brightens up the day upon seeing my fellow ex-classmates + current classmates.. As usual, we talk, crap and laughed wholeheartledly.

As for the new class, it was 10 VS 11 or perhaps you can say 10 VS 10 plus one sitting on the fence (because he claimed he was A6.5 for last yr).. 1st impression, not that great but things will get better along the way:) It was such a contradiction when you see half of the class taking out their work and rushing it while the other half just sit there and talk.. I am just wondering why will you bother taking out your work and doing it in front of a teacher that had given you as a december holiday hw.. The impression that you give to one is that you didn't complete your work instead of the usual word, 'hardworking'. My dance teacher-in-charge always remind us, holiday hw should have been completed before the start of the new yr, what for bringing last year work to this year, I am so gonna agree to what she says even though I didn't really follow too, haha:)

Study session after CT period today.. Somehow productive, I changed my plans last minute about what I am gonna do.. Time is so precious for this year that you have to treasure every single minute.. Knowing that there will be some noise during the study session, I switched to doing maths instead since I can blast my music slightly:) Was so tired that I fell asleep on the sofa just now.. Crap, I wasted time again!! But perhaps this 1 hr short slp will help me focus better while doing my work later..

Ah.. my locker is right at the bottom.. What Glenda says came true.. If I am right, it was previously Melody's locker.. Lesson's officially starts tmr and I have no idea what books to bring and stuff..

Finally, the dance organiser had been vetted:)

School starting soon.. I just saw the class timetable and STAR schedule.. Seriously I am seeing stars!! I found out that last week of jan I don't even have time to rest.. Mon-Fri: Sch, Sat:STAR, Sun: SYF @ UCC (the 3 S's).. Not forgetting the rehearsal for CNY, more dance pracs and countless hw + tests.. It's time to stock up NESCAFE-COFFEE!!

Gonna wake up early tmr to collect my edusave merit bursary:)

Late Dec+Early Jan Happenings:)

HC+SR+NJ+HSS

Had our combined dance camp on the 28th and 29th Dec.. FUN FUN FUN!! DAY 1 we break into our groups, I was in group 4 and my buddy was Sheryl from NJ Junior High. We played ice-breakers, had dance workshop such as flamingo and bollywood+indian classical dance+lyrical hip-hop.. Then it was time for us to choreograph a dance to the given theme.. Our group's theme was 'barriers'.. We started discussion.. some mentioned about physical and mental barriers, in the end we just incorporate both into our dance.. The song we chosen was titled 'Slow Me Down'.. Our group was broken into 3 smaller groups where each group choreograph their own steps.. We were in the midst of discussion when we ended the day.. DAY 2 we had the usual class.. Tiring but we had a chance to see how strong and good the others schools were.. Continuation for the choreography and it was time for lunch.. Yeah, our dance instructor bought bubble tea for us:) We had some time after lunch hence a battle among the school begun.. I mean dance battle.. Haha:D Sixian and Li Kiong represent our school to do headstand.. Ouch hurts huh.. then there was the battle of the no. of pirouettes (Representative: Yi Lin, Ellen), flexibility (Representative: Yi Lin), Animalistic (Representative: Mavis), Krumping (Representative: Yna)... Seriously, SR dancers were really high after lunch.. we were screaming, cheering, shouting and many more.. After that, we had a improvisation class.. Had lots of fun and some dancers were guided blindly into the gents.. LOLXD Realised that we are able to come up with many unique poses and actions using different parts of our body. Following that, individual schools were given a chance to practice their SYF piece in the hall.. Ellen was busy helping us to clean-up some parts of the dance when we were practising at the concourse... Seriously, if possible, never try dancing on concrete floors.. Is bad for your knees.. Ouch!! After our school practice, individual grps had a chance to use the stage for their self-choreo item.. Every school started showcasing their SYF piece, shall not comment much here but let's work hard together:) It was individual's grp time to showcase their self-choreo and our group and group 2 won.. YeahXD Really love dance camp:)

Met some of the SJC dancers for lunch.. It has been a long time since we last met.. Seniors who turned up include Pamela, Qian Yi and Ellen. Juniors who turned up include Jesca and Shiqi.. My batch ppl who turned up include me, Karissa and Doro.. We had lunch at Marche and our nice seniors and juniors prepare post Xmas gifts for us.. THANKS :) We went to the arcade looking at ppl dancing para para... Headed to KBox later on to sing and have fun:) Hopefully, we will able to meet up more often.. Ah, Ellen commented that my half-step sucks, shall work on them.. She seems to expect more from me than the rest.. I must prove to her that I can achieve them:D

Had dinner with Karissa and Doro at a HK Cafe in Nex.. Grace joined us later on.. Headed to Serangoon Gardens for the countdown event.. Saw Chelsea, Wen Ling and Sheryl there.. Apparently my JC classmates were there at the same location participating in countdown too.. But didn't managed to spot them.. there was like more than 10000+ ppl there.. Haha!! This has been set as an annual thing for us to meet-up and chat.. Was so damn tired that I got a coffee from 7-eleven.. Coffee no longer works for me:(

This is what I do when my house electric fuse burnt.. Was studying geography and was feeling kind of tired.. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes as out of a sudden, the lights started to flicker and I heard a 'poke' and my lights went off.. This is when you put your candles and torchlight into good use:) Had nothing to do and it was like 2am so I started playing shadows in my rooms.. LOL, a way to kill time XD

5th Jan:
SYF Dance Prac then followed by blocking for CNY Dance.. Yup, we will be performing the jazz+hip hop piece for CNY.. So not suitable right.. Haha, but time is running out, we don't have a choice... Dancers are busy ppl:) Lunch-ed with Desmond, Sixian, Fung Yee, YiLin Jia Wen, Daniel and Ruben later on at coffeeshop and back to join fathur to study.. Ended up arguing over a geog essay question.. Productive work had been done..

6th Jan:

7th Jan:
SYF Dance Prac in Hall.. then preparing for CNY dance.. Omg, I had a hard time trying to get use to the transitions.. Need to try and recall my steps.. We (Shaun, Desmond, Jia Wen, Daniel, Sixian and Me) went for Pepper Lunch at Hougang Mall and decided to go to Jia Wen's house to study.. Her dog is adorable but scary.. haha.. Was taking pics of Sixian sleeping.. LOLXD Had pizza for dinner and was busying rushing out my dance CIP reflection.. Home Sweet Home.. It was 'Breakout' last episode, finally, I no longer need to catch a drama anymore.. Expected better ending though but the storyline for this drama is really different from the usual dramas.. Good Luck to me, school's starting next week:)

A sweet goodbye to 2010 and welcoming 2011!!

2010 passed by really quickly..

I made lots of new friends and I changed alot.. I tried to control my emotions and temper and know the importance of consistency and hardwork.. Was constantly motivated by my friends and the results I achieved from each test and exam makes me desire for more.. Orientation.. CNY performance.. Dance Camp.. Releve.. WILL RUN.. YOG torch relay.. Mission X.. SRGCE TAIWAN (Dance).. Combined Dance Camp...and many more... 2010 was enriching and full of excitement..

Hopefully 2011 will be a great year for me, my friends and my family:)

2011 Resolution:
1) Good results for all quizzes, tests, exams and A Level's:)
2) Spend more time with friends and family:)
3) Cut down on unhealthy food and lose at least 5kg:)

Daddy fetched me to T3 but there wasn't any dancers there yet... Waited patiently and had a short briefing before we headed to have our breakfast at Coffee Club. Shared breakfast with Sam Seow and Desmond.. Goodbye Singapore and Welcome to Taiwan.. Our tour guide was Mia and Nancy, they gave us a brief intro about Taiwan.. Headed to Dan Shui later on.. We tried lots of food such as Iron egg. Fish Crisps, A-gei, Bin Tan Hu Lu, ice-cream, chou toufu and many more.. In Taiwan, the sun sets at 5 plus so it felt weird.. We went to this chinese restaurant for chinese food.. It was a 10 course meal and we had to try our best to finish all the food.. Played this guessing no. game to try to clear all the food.. Back to the hotel to check in.. My room-mate was Mavis:)

Yeah, we survived through this 5 days intensive dance training.. 1 level up:) Had our assessment the past 2 days, didn't do very well for my left side:( So we have been training hard and Mr Dan treated us ice-cream yesterday, woohooXD We did stunts which were so damn fun to try..

Dear diary (What a weird way to start),

today isn't a good day and it is neither a really bad one but I just felt really disappointed with myself. I am not able to stretch as much as I can and my stamina isn't imporving! Shall put in more effort tomorrow, I believe that tomorrow will be a better day:) The word for tomorrow is to be 'FOCUS'!!!

I haven't pack my luggage and I am flying off this sunday for more training which includes wushu, drama and of course dance!! Looking forward to it and I got to admit that I am really jealous of those who had came back from SRGCE and posted their pics at facebook.. HahaXD

I haven't started doing my hw (For all those school stalkers, I think u all will be damn HAPPY hearing that) and I haven't completed reading my dance booklet.. Time is running out..

Am I such a big threat?? Why must they know everything about me.. what I am doing, whether I done my hw and stuff.. Can you imagine there's this pair of eyes just behind you staring at you and looking at whatever you are doing?!?! They are driving me crazy or perhaps that's their aim.. I know that I should ignore them but you can't help to complain to another person about how you feel being 'followed'.

I had seen 2-face ppl recently.. Shall not elaborate about them.

Yesterday's dance training was slightly different.. We started off with this sharing session and we played this samurai game to bond as a group.. Headed down to the track to complete our run and back for more sharing session.. Wondering what we will be doing for CNY performance:) Went out with Jia Wen today to NEX.. That place is so damn crowded.. U feel as if u r being suffocated..

Sometimes I tried my best to recall my past but it seems so hard.. I really dun wanna lose all those nice and sweet memories I had with my family and friends, that's why I love to capture images and post in either at this blog or facebook..

1 wk 3 days to SRGCE @ TAIWAN!!

We will be going to Taipei for dance training and of course to know more about the arts and culture scene in Taipei.. We will be having ballet and improvisation dance classes + wushu and drama classes.. Something really different as compared to last yr's trip to sydney where we learn jazz and other genres of dance. Will also be visiting Yangming shan and Shilin night market.. Many if the SRGCE teams such as Taiwan(Performing Arts), Cambodia, Yangshuo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Java ... had left Singapore.. Soon the other SRGCE teams such as Japan and Melbourne will be leaving too.. Argh so jealous of them, we are the last team to set off!! Will be leaving Singapore on the 12th of December at 8.30am and will be back on the 18th of December 10.30pm!! Can't wait!!:)

Yesterday's dance training was really tiring but fun!! We had to built up our stamina hence our instructor ask us to run around the school.. Cool down and headed to fusion house where we start dancing then stretch then we did lots of training for our arms and legs.. We had to lift our legs up against the wall and do a 180 degrees split.. Once your reach 180 degrees, the instructor will start pulling your right leg so that we will be doing oversplit.. Ouch, it hurts!! I am so glad that I did more than 180 degrees.. SYF practice later on:)

2 wks to SRGCE-Taiwan!!

Will be heading to Taiwan for SRGCE in 2 wks time:) Seems like we will be the last team to set off for SRGCE.. Will be having wushu, drama and ballet classes there!!

Currently there's quite a no. of dance stuff needs to be completed.. Taiwan CIP, our so called 'boot camp' and dance organiser.. Need to complete them asap, I CAN DO IT:)

This week marks the end of supplementary lessons, wednesday maths lecture was cancelled due to teacher's meeting.. was actually looking forward for maths lessons.. We ended having McDonald breakfast..

Dance training is getting intensive.. there will be lots of training next year and there will a sunday training at UCC.. Better manage my time well:) I need to achieve my current aim, Jiayou!!

Supplementary Lessons Started...

Supplementary Lessons started officially today... Haven't really adjust my body clock, was feeling sleepy at times but trying to concentrate on what the lecturer was saying.. New topics, trying our very best to understand as fast as possible.. Received a box of bitter chocs frm geog department, haha, it reminds me that it seems so bitter to study rocks!! We (Me, Ant, Fathur, Glenda, Hwee Ting, Traci and Sze Hui) took a lunch break at Heartland KFC. and back to school for Maths.. Seriously, life is so quiet and boring right now, with so many 'missing' friends and stuff.. I am still not use to it!! We have to adapt to changes as soon as possible, it will be a tough road ahead.. Bring it on!!

Did I mentioned in my previous posts that I watched Inception recently and also St. trinians 1 and 2?!?! Hmm.. well Inception was really good and sometimes you will just wonder isit true that there are so many levels in your dream, well definitely mine reaches only level 2 currently which is a dream in a dream.. St.trinians is just funny and hilarious.. It would be so fun if there is such a school in Singapore, at least will bring us some joy while we are muggling really hard for examinations.. I recently also started watching Vampire Diaries but is still not yet addicted to the show, perhaps it takes some time.. I finished watching Britain's Next Top Model Cycle 4.. A message I got from the show, girls from different background should try to avoid staying together in the same house.. Completed watching TVB drama, A Fistful of Stances.. It was really a great show and worth to watch.. You will feel very disgusted by the villian but this also means that the actor succeed in making us to hate him!!

Granny's 82nd Birthday!!

It was Granny's 82nd Birthday last sunday and she had another great grandson born on that day, this means that I have another nephew!! We ate at this chinese restaurant located in AMK.. Most of my relatives were present.. I could remember my Grandma's was pulling me when my family arrive and I actually said 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' to her in English when she don't really understand it since she speak dialects, but she was laughing at the way I wished her:) Alot of food and I was so bloated!! One of my cousin secretly went 'missing' and we actually found out later that he went to buy a cake after realising other tables were celebrating with cakes too!! The celebration was a short and sweet one:)

We should plan beforehand right, seems like my choices are limited due to me pursuing Arts course.. I do not want to end up in a situation where results determined where I go, I should work for what I want..

So many temptations, I must resist from them and sis iPhone4 is one of them (I can spent hours sitting there and play)..

Completed part of the dance organiser, OMG, my hands were aching after a long wednesday.. I was editing, typing, checking..etc. Try keying in all the dates and months for nxt yr n create your own organiser, your hands will ache after just typing for 2 months..

Life has been so BORING!! STUDY EAT SLEEP STUDY EAT SLEEP and the cycle just continues..

Oh well, just finished GP paper yesterday.. The longest essay I ever wrote for this yr.. Haha.. 7 points in total and 9 paragraphs.. Comprehension is just so COMPLICATED!! Is so hard to link to Singapore, under exam stress, you have to come up with something that relates to Singapore is just so dificult.. Physical Geog this morning.. Sob Sob!! Didn't finished my 16 marks essay.. was in panic mode that I just throw whatever I remember.. Gonna work harder for human geog to pull up man!! Econs tmr, excited!! Haha:) Testing our arm muscles.. 4 essays in 1.5 hr!! Hopefully able to finish it.. Kind of worried for Maths and Chemistry.. Just scared that I can't perform up to expectations.. So I'm gonna toss a coin on Friday to see what essay I am gonna do for nxt monday.. Heads for Population and Tails for Urban!! LOLXD This shows how indecisive I am and I am just leaving it to fate.. like yes, FATE!!

Mission X Finals for today.. was rushing for time.. checking the slides n video to ensure everything is all right:) The crowd was crazy.. I mean there's really alot of ppl.. More than 500++ Having to stand in front n speak to them is seriously scary, even though I tried it before.. We were the 1st team to present.. everything went well n could hear laughter at backstage.. Burst out laughing while watching the video.. OMG, I was actually laughing to e audience at the start of my presentation all thanks to RUBEN!! Of all ppl, I spot him waving to me.. LOLXD and also Anthony and Fathur who were laughing at the way I stand and speak.. It reminds me of the video n e funny moments.. Thanks for the response audience, u all r great:) Saying the slogan was AWKWARD because e laughter at e back only Elijah could do it.. hehe:) Q n A time, was bombarded with a whole lot of questions n I went 'OMG; went Mrs Tan ask 'how can you ensure that your product is healthy conscious?' Before the presentation, I thought I couldn't really handle any questions but in the end, I tried to crap some answers out.. though is not the perfect answer.. The other team presented.. I thought that their video should also made it into the national competition.. Interval!! Someone said my voice was damn clear when I was presenting but I thought I was laughing throughout.. HAHAXD Mr Chuah was here to support us.. Woohoo!! Showing the 2 videos that made it into the competition, and 1 of them is frm A7 too:) Speech by the Udders Ice-cream owner.. Learnt alot.. Realised the importance of high expectations!! Announce of results.. Yay we got 1st.. 2 hampers for our class.. Saw the A5 peeps outside LT:) Taking pics time! My classmates told me abt some negative comments said by the others abt our class.. I just wanna say that my grpmates really put in lots of effort to prepare for this project.. We spent lots of time through MSN, in school etc. just to discuss abt Mission X.. We also had to stay overnight till like 3am just to ensure everything goes right!! I really admire their team spirit and enthusiasm, feel very fortunate to work with these bunch of friends, they are really GREAT!! I realised we won alot of competitions as a class, frm SR Picnic to WILL RUN and to MISSION X! KUDOS TO A7:D

Wanna thank my Mission X team for all the hardwork u all had put in.. The research team, Fathur, Anthony, Sze Hui, The Creative Team, Glenda, Jasmine Lim, Khairul, The presentation team, Elijah, Traci and Fionella!! U guys r AWESOMEXD Thanks Mdm Teo for guiding us along and thank Ruben for helping out in our video.. Not forgetting Melody who taught me how to answer to last yr's question..

Photography Workshop+DANCE @ CCAB+Thankgiving Concert

Had SRGCE phototaking session in the morning on fri.. Headed to CCAB for dance class. Was eating our lunch while travelling there.. 12.30pm-1.30pm: DANCE!! =) Changed bits here and there.. Take pics and off to Island Cremery.. It was a nice place to hangout.. Off the MacDonalds and we were talking lots of stuff.. Hehe, asked Joanna lots of question.. Was kind of curious how she balance dance and her studies.. Learn a lot too=) Back to school for thanksgiving.. Thanks Mel for the flower.. Thanksgiving Concert was GREAT!! GP department sang songs from Glee.. Maths department did this wiper dance which was super funny.. PE department did this lion dance with a video.. Special appearance in the video was funny too.. Chinese department did a scene from Twilight.. LOLXD It was so FUNNY!! Science department did a Indian Bollywood dance, luv the formations, simple yet nice.. Miss Tan'sss did a hiphop dance which totally rawk!!PW Department was cool too with Lady Gaga and stuff and Humanities department was so hyper in dancing.. Ended with school song, some national day songs and stuff.. We were taking pics at the track after the concert and off to Yoshinoya for late dinner cum supper..

Meet the other bridemaids at Raffles City on Saturday.. Discussed about games and stuff.. Went shopping with Sis for a short while before heading home. Performed at Hougang CC at 9 plus pm.. It wasn't the best performance we put up.. This is a different stage and a different group of audience.. but we still have to adapt to it. We will do a better job for the tuesday performance=) Their conference rm was so conducive for studying XD

Can you believe it, how I wish it was 2 yrs ago and I can make the choice I want so that I can achieve my aspiration. But then, my current subject combination isn't that bad after all, just the fact that I realised that I am keen to work as a doctor in the future.. Well, there must be a way out.. I can be something else.. Hmm...

Was watching NDP 2010.. How I wish I was involved in it.. Remember in SJC, we 380 dancers performed at the floating platform to the song 'This is where I rather be'.. Missed those times where we had to go to the different areas for training and rehearsals.. Hopefully, everyone is doing well now =)

Will be performing at Raffles City on Sunday, 15th Aug at 4pm!! DO COME DOWN AND SUPPORT US!!

Urgh~ My maths teacher wrote on my paper that he has higher expectation from me.. Has been trying very hard to find time to sit down and practice Maths..

Have not been doing consistent revision as I have been busy with the Dance Concert ever since the June holidays.. Currently preparing for SYF @ Raffles City, Performance @ Hougang CC and Performance during the torch relay.. BUSY is the only word to describe the life I am having now.. I am super duper tired but have to force myself to endure all these.. DANCE is my passion, I can't give up on it, it is part of my life.. At the same time, studies are important too.. I need to persevere.. Also have been preparing for farewell and stuff..

Our class won the 1st prize for WILL RUN!! SHOCKED!! HAHAXD Hooray=) Didn't meet my target all thanks to the sore throat and flu I have.. have been sicked for the past 1.2.3..3 days!! My voice sounds weird and I can't really breathe properly.. Hope I recover quickly=)

Went to TKSS today for rehearsal.. The school is sooooo nice to chartered a 36-seater bus(I guess) for just the 8 of us plus Miss Tan.. The space to dance is so much smaller.. have been worrying that I will fall of stage and stuff.. Could not breathe regularly all thanks to blocked nose.. Our energy level for today was really low but we will definitely do a better job for the upcoming practices and performance..

Was waiting for rehearsal to start so the A7 gals went out to buy bubbletea.. We ended up playing aorund at the playground and taking pics.. Had a dry-run at 2.30pm.. Ended around 4pm. Lilin and Stephanie came in to pass Sixian and I muffins that Mdm Teo gave the class, tks=) Mr Dan and Mr Tan talked to us before the performance.. Put on make-up at Fusion House.. We were rushing against time.. Have to ensure our hair are neat, make-up must be done before dinner and stuff.. Had dinner with the dancers at canteen and off we go to do some stretching and warm up.. Was sweating so much after the warm up. Same stuff done for every performance and we set off to LT5 backstage.. Was packing and ensuring that all my costumes were in place.. Out of a sudden, there's this sharp pain in my stomach, OUCH!! Thank goodness it doesn't last that long.. The teachers were sweet to give us chocolates=) We were taking lots of pics at the changing rms and were admiring the flowers for the teachers.. Was so nervous.. It's time.. Was doing some stretching behind the curtains while the emcees were speaking. Could hear the crowd screaming non-stop and just randomly heard some ppl shouted my name.. Tks anyway=) I thought it was good for this round=) Was rushing to change to the next costume.. Tks Jasmine and Sam Seow for helping me!! After Ellen's ballet dance, umbrella + hip-hop performance, Grace Kelly, Alumni.. It was 'WRAITH'.. We have to get into our characters.. you know vines, animalistic, scary, creepy... It was great!! Rushed to change while the teacher's and Ellen were performing.. 'ADOUMA' time.. It was so FUN!! We heard ppl shouting 'ENCORE' aft the finale item.. Curtain Call.. It was so dark at backstage that I have to find my way through.. Dancers.. Alumni+NUS Dancers.. Exco.. Teachers.. Presented flowers.. VP talk.. Saw my friends and many teachers.. ENDED!! Debrief.. Photo-taking!! Saw Rebecca, Amelia... Packed up!! Friends were waiting outside.. have to rushed to FH to packed up.. Tks ppl for waiting for me.. Talked to Doro, Alison, Karissa and Grace=D Took more pics at canteen... Went off to Kovan with Angeline and Chelsea for Thai Express.. My ear was blocked all tks to the spice in my food.. hahaXD

This dance concert was an great opportunity for us to perform together and worked as a team. In addition, I am able to learn more from the alumni dancers, Lilian and Joanna and NUS Dancers, Michelle and Joanna.. I really treasure this opportunity to perform with them. Not forgetting the SR dancers, you guys ROCK!! =) Hope there will be more opportunities for us to perform as a TEAM!!

Really wanna thank all those who came down and support us.. Thanks doro, grace, karissa and alison for coming.. Luv you gals=) Hopefully we are able to carry on with a picnic and kite flying session soon=)

Was glad that people told me that I had improved my lines and techniques. Gonna work even harder..

2 MORE DAY TO 18!!

Went for Angeline's birthday party yesterday.. Saw Chelsea too=) Happy Birthday CHOU REN!! Had dance today.. Have been practising the 1st dance and Mr Gn's dance.. Today my brain not working that well.. Slow in some parts and totally screw up during one of the practice at LT5. Feel bad about it.. I was really shocked when the bangle dropped and afraid that it will hit the others.. end up I forgotten my steps.. Perhaps this is a situation to test my reaction and its very obvious that I am not good in handling such stuff.. But I am glad that it happened today than the actual day.. If not I am in super deep trouble.. For the first dance, still have some problem controlling my prop.. But steps are much better after clarification wif the dancemates.. Had a discussion wif the daxco later on regarding cip and headed to Rivervale Mall to buy stuff.. Ate KFC and shop at Daiso for 1hr.. HahaXD HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM SEOW!! =)

Emily gonna work hard for the upcoming practices/rehearsals and not forgetting the actual performance!! I am excited for it!! I have neglected my studies due to the intense dance practices, gonna catch up no!!

Today has not been a good day.. It was raining heavily and I fell down while walking to the hall.. OUCH!!

Weather was cold and I had been sneezing non-stop..

Took quite a long time before deciding what to get for angeline..

Had dance rehearsal yesterday.. We practiced the ending and tried out African Dance costume.. My 2nd time trying it.. Just got to get use to it.. I realised something, it is really hard to control the ribbon.. I need to train more.. Oh and we got our cape for the 1st dance.. the smell is 'awesome'!! Haha, I love the 1st dance costume.. So vampire feel.. hahaXD Had to rush and change costume..

Oh no, lots of hw to do.. I have been busy preparing the dance concert and Mission X.. Time to be focus and catch up in my work!!

Thursday we presented our Mission X, I can't stopped laughing at the video we made. We had this crazy session doing a pilot test for Hwee Ting's grp.. OMG, I have been laughing non-stop.. Haha!! Went for the checkup yest at SGH.. Daddy and Mummy accompanied me there=) There's lots of ppl at the clinic and I thought it will take quite some time for my turn but then my no. was shown soon.. Haha, 1600!! 3 secs and he said fully recovered..Yay!! The doc asked me whether I wanna go for a scope and I rejected.. Haha, can you imagine how long it will takes for me to go through all the process... the other time alrdy took 5hrs.. Oh and he said that it was my first time smiling.. I was thinking how can I smile when I am admitted to the hospital and missed my exams.. He thought I took ballet but it was modern contemporary.. =) So I no longer need to go for checkup anymore.. Yeah!! But still wanna thank doc and nurses=) Rushed back to school for dance.. Practised with the ribbon and I almost slipped.. Ended quite late.. around 7 plus.. Went home and I collapsed at 10pm sharp.. Sis was nice to cover me with my blanket..

It was the perfect weather to sleep but I had to wake up and go to school for dance.. Met Sam Seow at canteen to change.. We were experimenting with our tapes and stuff.. hahaXD Went fusion house for photoshoots.. Have been correcting our steps.. Seems to change alot.. Headed to LT5 for a grp shot and to practice.. The music is now stuck in my head.. I'm so scared that I fell of stage and I always step on my pants.. need to find a way to adjust it.. Visited Grandma later on..

Really had lots of fun having lessons and hanging out with e A7 ppl but not forgetting the A5 peeps=)
I AM SO TIRED!! Have been lacking of slp all thanks to my countless hw.. I ALMOST FEEL ASLEEP DURING MATHS LECTURE N IT IS MY FIRST TIME N WILL B MY LAST TIME!! ARGH!! Had a shocked when my new maths teacher called my name.. haha.. as usual, I was ston-ing.. but thank gdness I could answer her question..
I thought our Mission X video was awesome=) Haha.. very humourous!! Everytime u watch u just cant stop laughing.. HAHAXD Tks to all my grpmates=)
We celebrated July babies birthday.. It supposedly shld b just for Anthony but oh well, they change it.. HAHAXD
Attended the first MTP.. Questions are like H3 kind.. Very interesting but yet hard to solve.. Will try even harder next time!! We thought we will be having some chem quiz but it turn out to be a bingo game.. haha.. so fun!! We had free cookies=) Tks Miss Tan =D
I ran 4km within 29min.. Another record.. Traci has been pushing me alot.. HAHA.. she's really a nice company to run with=) Oh and I lost 3kg shockingly.. Had dance training 4 times this week and have been rushing to complete the slides and filming for Mission X.. I love my Mission X grp, they are so funny.. HahaXD I was watching the video and can't help but have to laugh non-stop.. Can you believe it, it seems that I have been becoming really forgetful.. I forgot to bring the props and I forgot to bring my handphones home.. But thank goodness Traci and my dancemates help me along.. Dance trainings are getting intensive as dance concert is approaching soon. Stamina indeed has improve but can be better. Will be performing for 3 items.. Oh and we have also been preparing dance booth schedule, announcement stuff, make-up, costumes and many more.. things seems to be getting abit messy but will try out best to make sure everything is all right.. =) We played floorball at the basketball court on thursday.. The weather was awesome(just like in the twilight film-baseball scene)!!! Haha.. and I was wondering why PE teachers also have to know our results.. Hmm... Today's training was short but tiring.. we tried our costume for the wraith dance.. and we went to LT5 for blocking and stuff.. I had a shocked when I saw joanna at the curtains there.. It was so dark and she's like so white.. Ahh.. almost scream.. Slept for like 4hrs just now.. This shows how tired I am... Lots of stuff to do..

The weather was really cold yesterday.. Dance was fine, trying hard to re-cap my steps as it has been weeks since we work on it with full strength.. Need to train my stamina.. since I will be involve in 3 items.. Dance nite is just 24 days away.. I saw the posters and it was amazing.. the teachers are so pretty=) Vetting 1 on friday wasn't that good.. we shall work harder together to do a better job=) Will be having dance practices for 4 days during the upcoming week.. I went to meet my sis, cousin and the other bridesmaids to try our dresses.. I tried more than 10 and finally picked one that suits my skin colour.. It's no good to be fair like me since I don't look good in light colour dresses.. Went bugis with sis later on and saw this super cool camera.. Home Sweet Home=D

I wanna:
1) Get that blue demin top from Cotton On
2) Get a pair of shoes that is suitable for me to wear to school
3) Get a new bag for school
4) have that camera that I saw at Bugis Junction so that I can capture all the lovely memories that I spent with my family and friends
5) Get a pair of white heels for my cousin's wedding
6) Get a black lace dress for my cousin's wedding
7) Get my hair cut
8) Black purse from Forever 21
9) Most importantly, I need to get my skin colour back..

I need to find time in July as it will be a busy month for me.. There will be lots of dance practices, makeup lessons.. other activities going on in school.. Need to have some time to go out shopping..

The Twilight Saga:Eclipse

I watched it.. like finally..
Was abit dissapointed that the movie didn't include quite a number of scenes.. but well, they have a budget right.. Really wish to see the scene where both Alice and Jasper met and a much longer version of Rosalie's flashback... Wasn't really a big fan for the books until Ashley Greene caught my attention for acting as a bubbly Alice Cullen in Twilight who can see the future.. Isn't it cool to have such a ability.. I got to admit that the fighting scenes were really awesome. I thought this was the best movie among the three.. Their acting skills were so much better then the previous 2.. Favourite scenes goes to the part where Jasper coaching the rest how to fight.. Is was so FUNNY!! HAHAXD Love the chemistry between Alice and Jasper, they are so cute and sweet=)

START OF TERM 3!!

Back to school with a super RED face.. Was called lobster.. I'm sunburnt.. OUCH!!

Know all my results already.. most are okay except GP, I screwed it up again.. Maths was good but can be better.. Geog was surprisingly well, Econs was okay but need to buck up my essay, chem can be even better if I had read the question correctly.. Was kind of shocked when I saw my rank points on the screen.. I was like counting and still could not get the numbers rite cos at tat point of time, I haven't got back my geog paper.. Yay, I had achieved one of my target for the year, that is to be the top art student in school.. Had lessons later on and my subject tutors and friends were congratulating me, even the A5 peeps also know..Wow, news spread so FAST when I didn't even say anything.. Felt abit weird when teachers say they are proud of me.. Tks anyway:) I didn't expect them to notice it.. and I thought my L1R5 was kind of bad on screen.. Mdm Khaw expect me to have the same standard for GP.. oh dear, seriously need to buck up!! Oh, and Mdm Teo gave me this super striking orange stickypad.. Tks alot=D This person had been picking on me, fathur and anthony recently, what's her problem.. Seriously, I think for tutorials, everyone should prepare beforehand and not waste the time doing the questions on the spot.. We can progress faster if everyone does their work before tutorial starts.. Oh well, have been adopting to the new maths teacher teaching style.. I got to say I'm so not use to it.. I just got use to Mr Cheu's teaching style and now they change again.. Perhaps, it takes time.. No choice, we have to be dependent on ourselves.. Dance practice has resume.. I can't feel myself as energetic as I am in the holidays.. I felt like a zombie dancing.. Perhaps due to e fact that my body has not been active for like 1 week.. And my dancemates, instructor and teachers were talking abt my different skin colour on my arms.. Hopefully, it quickly heals=) I received my dance schedule for July.. Wahhh... so many practices, rehearsals.. but I'm super excited for DANCE NITE!! I have to spend my birthday in school for like 13hrs.. and it suppose to be a sweet 18 rite?!?! Haix!! We had photo-taking at LT5 today.. forgot to bring our kites.. It was so damn funny.. haha!! Had this super long lunch with Glenda, Sixian and Traci at KFC.. We went on and on non-stop.. AWESOME!!

Starting to have nightmares once again.. OH NO!! Have been feeling the stress.. Afraid that I can't perform up to expectations.. I need to work even harder.. I have alrdy set a target and I need to achieve it.. Jiayou..

Went with Mel, Yee Suan, Jing Ling to do some voluntary work on Wed.. We brought some childrens out for excursion at Bukit Chandu.. We get to know more about kids.. seriously I know much about why my bro act in a certain way after this trip.. They just want to get our attention, especially boys.. They will be upset and starts to cry if you don't give him your attention.. Was really tough for me to care for 4 kids at the museum, they all ran in different directions.. But it was still a fun and educational trip with a different group of ppl, hope they learn much too=) Mummy was so nice to cover me with a blanket when I just fell asleep aft coming home from the trip, thanks=)

Jia Wen and Daniel came to my house to work on something, can't reveal much though.. Took 6hrs to complete it. Pearlyn say she will treat us bubbletea.. YEAH=)

Friday was study session with Angeline Louise Teo in SR.. I knew she will be late.. Econs was killing me but I defeated it somehow.. LOL XD

Went Marina Barrage today.. Supposedly should be a class outing but end up only 3 turned up.. Wasn't angry, and I was amazed by it.. Perhaps now I have better emotional control.. LOLXD Lilin, Glenda and I tried our luck and went there to see whether they sell kites.. And yes they do=) I saw Alison, miss her lotsXD We had a mini picnic and fly 2 kites.. Bobby was really nice to fly high but Mickey was turning around like crazy.. We blew bubbles too=) There's this professional kite flyer who lent us his huge kite to fly.. It was really heavy but we managed to keep it high.. We were really 'RED' after this trip.. Kites shall officially be our props for class photo taking=) YEAH!!

It is officially break for me from dance for the June Holidays.. I still have many incomplete hw.. Gonna hand up Mission X report soon..yay, 3/4 complete..

Had dance in the morning on 16/6/10!! It was raining heavily and we were rushing around to prepare for Mr Dan's birthday celebration.. Miss Tan LM acting skills were so awesome that it convince him that we were really scolded and punished.. Down 50!! It was really sweet for the seniors to come back and joined us=) We had Pasta Mania after DANCE!! YUMMY FOOD!! Saw Adam, Anthony and Ruben while walking to my busstop and ended up walking around Hougang Mall with them just to find Ruben's Magnum Gold...

Went out for lunch with my 4 gals (Ale, Angeline, Chelsea and Mel) on 17/6/10.. =) We had Thai food at Far East Plaza.. Ah.. they order all spicy dishes but thank goodness the chef cooked with less spice.. If not I'm in deep trouble.. Nice food though.. Went shopping later on at ION and Wisma.. Oh and I bought this mechanical pencil for $5.90(Yea, like wat!!).. I wonder why did I buy it?!?!

Ran 2km with my new shoes.. not bad.. hehe.. Oh my, I sprained my left foot.. It hurts while I was doing jumps and stretching but I persevere.. Hurray!! =) We have this mini showcase of the various dance.. It was really weird because many dancers for 'The Wraith' were not present due to various reasons so it was hard to see the whole idea of the dance. We discuss about make-up and stuff.. I think I still can't fully portray the different emotions of the dance.. For instance, 'The Wraith' could be even scarier and creepy.. Every dance lesson I get to learn more.. learn from my mistake and try to become a better dancer.. For this lesson, Miss Tan FX taught us about portraying emotions and yea.. it is really important to convince your audience what you are trying to show.. I really love the other two dance items.. Both items are so cute and sweet.. =D Had Mission X meeting later on.. end up we were watching videos of some funny person.. And Joachim lost my spring for my red pen.. aiyo!!

Daddy bought for us yummy nasi lemak and fast food again.. Woohoo.. Sis went for camping.. Father's Day tmr..

LUV DANCE CLASSES!!

Mr Dan's lesson on monday was really energy-draining but we had lots of fun.. Technique class and went through the Indian Dance and then we learn a new dance.. And another dance.. Got to catch all the steps really fast.. Oh the 2nd dance music was Filet- Le Reve.. I seriously like his choice of music.. they are all damn nice!! =) Today had to go all the way to CCAB at Bukit Timah for training.. We had lunchbox today.. Was looking at all the small little gymnasts at CCAB, they are so adorable and cute.. I seriously wonder what makes them to decide to come for trainings wholeheartedly when their friends are enjoying their holidays.. Well perhaps they are really determine to achieve their aim.. Really have to learn from them.. Despite all the scoldings and stuff, they stilll put in their best for all trainings.. Even a simple action, they will make sure that they will do it nicely.. We were waiting for dance lesson to start but then was told by Michelle that the Chinese Orchestra team has a camp going on, no venues available so had to go all the way back to SRJC.. Was wrapping my blister in the bus.. Ouch.. it hurts!! Successfully went in to our school without proper shoes.. haha.. was like rushing like mad.. Had dance class from 12.45pm-around 3plus.. Mr Gn was so nice to bought us bread but we were kind of bad cos we didn't leave any for him.. Haha!! Amendments here and there and was told about our costume and make-up.. Can kind of picture it.. Was trying to discuss about his lessons aft skool reopens.. I kind of predicted that we will be having more trainings at CCAB every Saturday.. Ended early today.. HURRAY!!! Was informed about what's gonna happen tmr, was rushing this card for Mr Dan.. and I completed it after changing stuff here and there..

It's time to go and study about muscles, ballet terms, and meanings!! =)

Oh well, woke up almost 6 plus everyday for dance.. Today was as usual.. Met Sam Seow at school busstop and Daddy fetch us to CCAB.. OMG, we reached there damn early.. slacked and we ate our food.. treat it as breakfast.. HAHA!! TODAY'S THEME was POTLUCK!! AWESOME!! I brought fried nuggets and french fries, Sam Seow brought fried dumplings which taste super NICEE!! Pearlyn brought fried rice and it was delicious, Deborah brought drinks, Liling brought Jap Chicken and someone brought Sausages and another brought sandwiches with NUTELLA!! AH!! FOOD!! Mr Gn changed quite a no. of stuff here and there.. Was so tired that I couldn't really FOCUS.. Feel guilty.. We roughly know the whole concept of the dance item.. very interesting and I bet my friends will think that this dance suits me to the max.. Haha, because the title of this item is 'WRAITH'.. At first I heard as grave.. but then both are equally scary.. I searched the meaning and have a better idea.. Went through quite a few rounds of the entire dance.. tiring and my blister bleeds.. OUCH! Thanks Michelle for the plaster. We sneaked out to get our FOOD while Mr Gn was away for water break.. It was so damn funny as we were rushing to finish our food.. and they were like rushing in to the dance studio. Lots of funny moments like the dog thing which I felt so weird and our gossip topics during our potluck.. Oh, we got an C+ for the transition thingy.. oh well C = COOL!!! HAHA, but we will aim for an A which is equals to AWESOME!! The whole dance is around 8mins.. and I have bigger bruises after today's practice.. OUCH!! Ended around 1 plus (supposedly shld be 4pm but he let us off early cos we kind of meet his expectations) and we had POTLUCK!! YEA, tat's wat we have been waiting for.. NICE FOOD=) Gossips non-stop.. Oh and we saw this ostrich banner.. haha, inside joke.. TODAY was FUN and NXT tue THEME is LUNCHBOX!! We might have a off day on thurs if we do well for the tue one.. So lets jiayou together everyone!!

I finally bought my ideal pair of sports shoes at compass.. Was choosing between Reebok and Puma and I chosen the Reebok pair.. YeAh, and I will name my shoes 'BRIGHTY' =)

Have been preparing for our upcoming concert which we will be combining with guitar.. the concert tentative date will be on 28th July at Performing Arts Theatre..Then there will be another dance performance at Raffles dunno where in August.. Gonna be bridesmaid for my cousin on 18th Sep and I dunno what am I suppose to do.. trying the clothes on 26th June..

So we had dance lessons @ CCAB today from 12pm-4pm.. I was sweating ALOT!! We completed the dance, hooray!! Quite a long piece but is smth really different.. Have been cleaning up the steps while Mr Gn went to do some work at his office and we have been staying at our MERMAID pose while waiting for him.. Haha=)I realised that my hint was abit too LOUD!! LOL XD My body was aching so much that I can't fully stretched my legs.. OUCH!! Cam-whore aft tat.. Very FUN!! Went Coronation Plaza, The Cosy Corner to eat.. quite a nice and comfortable place to hangout.. They were talking about stories.. Kind of scary.. Daddy came and picked me up and we went Adam's Food Centre for dinner.. Yummy food.. HOME SWEET HOME=D

Had dance at CCAB on Saturday.. we went through the steps with Michelle while waiting for Mr Gn.. it was really fun.. We learnt another new segment-G.. more floorwork.. more bruises but it was still worth it.. Dance from 9.30am-4pm and had Mac for lunch... McDelivery seriously needs to be abit faster.. We were dying from hunger.. haha=D We were like eating outside the studio and talked lots of stuff.. haha=D There's this shooting guy came in and say he wanna shoot Mr Gn.. The way he say it sounds so funny!! Did segment A and B for him to film.. Measurements had also been taken.. Wonder what's our costume?!?! Completed almost 6mins of the dance with changes here and there.. I wonder how many times I roll on the floor man.. like more than 10times for this dance.. Ouch!! Mavis tripped on my leg for like twice.. so sorry about that.. Seriously, we sweat alot there... was totally 'drenched' after a short while=) Wonder what's the final music.. the current song seems to be abit too sweet for the dance.. I have this big FAT bruise at my hip area.. Ouch.. and it seems like there's internal bleeding.. Yucks!! Oh, we're performing this item not just for the concert but also for another event at Raffles City on 14th or 15th August.. Can't wait for the next practice=)

Went to find sis with daddy and bro on sunday.. Ate like super lots of food.. My bro is getting Fatter and Taller.. Argh!! Went to visit Grandma too=)

Went out with Angeline Louise Teo on thursday.. was really glad to meet up with her.. Shopped, Eat, Talked.. walked till my legs hurt.. hopefully able to meet up with her again. She told me to watch a movie but I forgotten the name.. haha.. gonna go and check with her the movie title.. =)

There's dance today, from 8am-1pm.. We completed the 'Indian Dance'.. Was so damn tired and slept once I reached home.. Bro has been irritating me with his bears and towel.. Took back my econs paper today.. better than what I expected.. Considering that my make-up paper essay questions were harder than the original ones.. I passed my mid-yrs.. Took back 3 subjects (chem, maths and econs) and is alrdy 45/50!! Yea=) Need to work harder for my econs essay man!!

Oh, they went through Mission X briefing and I seriously didn't expect that they played last yr's ppt slides.. Saw our names there.. was kind of weird!! Thank goodness they couldn't play the video.. so paiseh.. HAHAXD Thanks for all the compliments from the teachers about our last yr team.. hehe=) was kind of lost when they going through the marker's comment and stuff.. cos I took a different paper.. >.

Mission X + 1 June 2010

Was chosen to be Mission X grp leader, gonna work with another bunch of new teammates and I believe that we can do a AWESOME job!! =)

Rmb the times I was with the A5 ppl working on Mission X.. Going through our own work, till team work, grp proposal, filming video which we had lots of fun laughing at the bloopers and then till Oral Presentation where we had to tackle the questions posted by the teachers.

No one knew that we can get into the finals.. but we did. It was a surprise!!
No one knew that we can win.. but we did once again.. and we won a BIG hamper!!
I got to say that it was really tough to emerge from the rest of the econs cohort and be the top team.. The four of us were really nervous at the backstage.. when its our turn.. my heart was thumping really fast.. looking at the audience.. it was really scary.. I love our slogan.. I miss what Ruben say!! He really make everyone laughed=D I thought the 1st team was a great competitor.. they were really humorous.. Not forgetting the other 2 teams who were equally great!! Was really happy that we won last year.. it was something like our hard work paid off.. I really missed those times.. I once thought that Mission X = Mission Impossible but it turned out to be Mission Possible!! What about this year??

Couldn't get back to sleep due to a SMS =.=!! Re-watched STEP UP again!! Nice=) Went school earlier to get my maths results.. Saw Jasmine and Jean with a stack of paper.. then I realised that my paper wasn't there.. the teachers are still marking.. Heard that our class didn't do well..

GUYS, NEVER EVER GIVE UP EASILY, MATHS NEED ALOT OF PRACTICE!! IT'S POSSIBLE TO DO WELL IF YOU PUT IN THE HARD WORK, SOME PEOPLE LIKE ME JUST NEED MORE TIME TO SCORE, I GOT TO ADMIT THAT I'M A SLOW LEARNER BUT YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOVE THE SUBJECT=) THE SENSE OF SATISFACTION YOU GET WHEN YOU CAN SOLVE A MATHS PROBLEM IS AWESOME!!! I BELIEVE THAT WE ALL CAN DO IT AND YOU GOT TO BELIEVE IT YOURSELF TOO=)

Was kind of didn't expect an A or B anymore once I knew the others results.. But then Mr Cheu came and pass to me my paper.. Was kind of shocked!! It seems like he also can't believe how I did it... Got to say that some questions of the make-up paper was harder and some easier.. Overall, should be the same.. Had a Maths pop test but I didn't bring my GC.. Aiyo very careless.. I knew how to do the question.. Geog lect later on.. As usual..

Watched a movie recently titled TRADE.. I got to say that it is a very educational movie... Storyline is about child trafficking.. It tells us alot about what is going on in other countries.. Can be use to discuss in GP..

Today has been a great day=)

Chem lecture- went through mid-yr answers.. thought I didn't do well and no hope for an A but then surprisingly I did very well.. Wah can be better if I didn't mistaken H2O as 1H and 2O... Urgh!!

Dance was super awesome today.. I seriously enjoy all Mr Gn's dance practices even though bruises everywhere and my leg bleeds.. Its just so fun and interesting.. Choreography was awesome.. and the concept was just so us.. Really had lots of fun today=) Looking forward to the next dance practice=)

Dad bought Mac for us.. triple AWESOME!!!
He said that anasthetic might cause people to become forgetful.. Omg and I did experienced it.. Hopefully it won't happened again=)

Wind Shadow + Dance + Exams

Exams are officially over for me!! hehe=)
I was told that photo-taking has been postponed because of my make-up exam.. Feel bad abt it..
I screwed my econs once again for not able to manage my time well.. Maths was fine.. but could be better..

Went to watched wind shadow 1 day before my exams.. I don't want it to use exams as an excuse to miss this show.. A very different kind of performance.. Requires alot of interpretation..

Met up with Daniel and Jiawen after my econs exams to the costume room to do inventory check.. OMG, we have been labelling all the clothes in order to make our life easier in future.. There's this 4 boxes of jumper and I seriously had a hard time counting and labelling all of them.. Something happened later on, it was kind of funny.. haha!! Went heartland mall for bubbletea!!

We had our official 1st official dance practice at ccab.. Miss Tan FX has been very nice to bought us there.. A very different environment.. You can see our potential athletics practising there.. the gymnast was awesome and the dance studio was big.. Met a NUS dancer- Michelle. She's really nice=) And I just realised that she was involved in the dance item that I love alot=) The 10 of us had to memorise the steps as quickly as possible.. Mr Gn started to block some of the dance.. Really like the dance session alot.. Very different and interesting.. We had lunch at Prata Hse.. Was just so damn tired to eat... Bruises, scratches here and there.. Was really exhausted but I thought today was still fruitful and fun=) Thanks Daddy and Mummy for coming to fetch me at CCAB which is super far frm our hse.. had a nice time shopping at supermart..

I have a total of 16 dance trainings for this holiday and there's this week where dance practices are continuously for 6 days.. Wahh.. I went back school yesterday to take the chem paper.. Was feeling kind of giddy at the mid of the paper, perhaps due to the medicines I took earlier.. but managed to finish it somehow.. Not that good, not that bad.. Went to eat tau huay together with the A7 ppl.. talked a lot of stuff.. from this to this to that.. Then the elements headed to Heartland Mall for more FOOD.. ARGH, Mummy say I can't eat seafood, chicken and fried stuff.. there's so many food there but I can't eat=( Walked around and we went Cold Storage later on.. So many new stuff on shelves.. so tempted to buy..

Most ppl ended their examinations except me, 6 more days and I will be temporary free..

Colorectal Surgery

I'm officially out of SGH.. thank goodness=)

It has been a nightmare for me for the past 2 days..

Tue afternoon, headed to the polyclinic with Mum and end up waiting for 2hrs just to see a doctor.. Was told that I had to go to SGH A&E to see a doctor.. >.<

Mum took me there and had a long walk to find the correct building. Was feeling damn tired by then and had to went through lots of things.. take temp.. registraton.. consultation.. X-ray.. Admission... It took a whole 4hrs before I was brought to the ward.. Dad and Mum accompany me.. Damn tired and was feeling restless.. Doctor came and check and told my parents and I that operation will be on the next day.. A nurse came in at the middle of the night to take my blood samples.. It hurts but was really sleepy.. there's this dunno who came in at a later time to ask me to sign stuff and I was like Zzz.. sleepy.. Woke up at around 7plus.. No breakfast for me as I can't consume any food before the operation..Dad came and visit me in the morning and was complaining how troublesome to visit a patient here. He passed to me my books whic I asked sis to pack for me.. more nurses came in to tell me lots of stuff while I was studying maths... Changed and headed to the operation theatre.. DAMN SCARED can... See lots of ppl all in blue.. It was so damn COLD and I need two blankets.. Had anaesthetic and rmb there's oxygen mask on me and then someone saying 'you will feel abit weird' and recalling that my hold body seems like being squeeze together and can't remember what happened after that.. 2hrs later, someone called my name and I woke up.. Feels like waking up from a short sleep but when I turned and look at the clock, is already 1 plus... The doctor and nurse check on me.. was feeling tired and there's this machine that is checking my blood pressure and heart rate.. reminds me of graph and physics.. I was like thinking of Maths at that point of time ... y= Modules f(x) does not make sense but we can do f modules (x).. LOL XD Trying to keep myself occupied.. being brought back to my ward.. Wanted to continue with Maths but the moment I shift the table, was feeling really giddy and I slept.. I woke up and slept and woke up and slept.. and woke up.. Drank milo and puke all out.. Yucks the side effects is really bad.. Doctors came in and ask whether I wanna go home and I said yes... Mummy bought me porridge and I ate.. Daddy came after work.. There's this nurse very nice.. she helped my clean my wound and explain to me all the medicines and stuff.. headed home with my parents and puke the 2nd time when I was at the 1st level of my block.. Yucks.. all porridge were out!! Went home.. really tired.. Thought I was gonna puke again... Argh really dun wan such things to happen again.. Really upset that I can't make it for maths and econs paper..

May I recover soon=)

Just finished watching last episode of Amazing Race Season 16.. Really like what Jet and Cord said, they can hold their heads high as they played the game with integrity!! They are so AWESOME!! They don't criticise people and do not vent their anger on one another. Even though Dan and Jordan cut their queue, but they did not screamed at them.. This is the difference of a true gentleman.. It's just a game, the most important thing is the experience you gain.. Really hope to travel around the world and visit places such as Seychelles and others.. Want to see how's the world like outside Singapore..

Went Malaysia twice and all I have to say is that it is quite similar to Singapore.. In terms of its culture and also the different races.. The food there are nice too.. Thailand has lots of fun places.. Haha, tried riding on a elephant before, feel weird.. Haha and their Tom Yam Soup is damn NICE!! It is one of the best countries to shop at.. Went Sydney last year.. It is more of a Dance and Cultural trip.. very enriching.. FUN=D Nice views and the STEAK is really large.. The environment there is nice.. Everyone seems very friendly and it seems a very relaxing place.. This year will be heading to Taiwan for another Dance trip.. Can't wait.. I want to see more and most importantly, learn more!!!

Oh no, have not been doing well for my recent tests... Expected more from myself.. Sometimes I just hope that ppl can just keep their mouth shut at the appropriate time.. One shouldn't 'show-off' but instead should strive and work even harder.. this is not just for studies but also for other aspects such as CCA, make everything a significant one!!

Sis is shifting back from NTU hostel tmr.. No more 1 rm to myself.. We gonna fight for the table in the rm.. Haha=D

Have I started revising... ?? erm, hard to answer that.. Will I follow a study plan.. I think is so impossible.. I have really bad time management .. but it does not mean that I totally neglected my studies.. I think I have my very own way to study.. is kind of different from last yr.. wouldn't know whether it works anot, hopefully it does...

Feel like doing what, just do it.. that's how I think.. haha!! I think is quite useful in that sense that one wouldn't be so stress up to follow a study plan..

Had dance audition yesterday, I like the lesson a lot.. is something really very different.. though the part where 3 by 3 performing is kind of scary(is that the correct word?!?!)... Is over..

Sometimes I wonder isit because we are ** thus we are not eligible to certain stuff.. Oh this are full of nonsense and crap..

No offence but I think popularity doesn't really determines one personality and capability.

3 more wks to midyr n I'm so nt prepared..

Just screwed my recent econs, geog and chem test few days ago.. Argh, but I think chem very easy... Just that my time management can't make it and I'm always very careless.. =( Don't believe look at the recent maths test which I wrote 3 as 13... !!! Mdm Khaw said I did well for GP but I was wondering I just pass.. Me and my sis came to a conclusion tat GP is so hard to predict whether we will pass or not.. Is like whenever u tink u write well, it turn out the other way round.. vice-versa..

Teachers certainly have expectations on us but is the fact that whether we r able to accomplish it.. Maintaining at the range isn't easy... Emily aka Platinum JIAYOU=D

Yest aft skool, went out wif Traci, Stephanie, Jasmine, Glenda and Anthony to have jap tea-break.. We watched 'the cove' later on at LT4... A very touching documentary... while watching, alot of things going on in my mind.. Friends were saying that 'they' should stop whaling... but then I was thinking that if they stop, wat will happen to those who rely on selling them as a souurce of income.. I'm definitely not supporting whaling but then is there a better solution for both parties?? I was thinking can I use this topic as an argument for poverty question that some countries support J**** for whaling isit bcos J**** can provide them aid or some other forms of incentives... Release of A Levels PW results

Saw Ms Yeo in the morning while I was talking to Haizer, she said its our BIG DAY!! Was not really scared in the morning.. Just feel that it is another normal day.. Ended GP and had quite a long break.. In the library doing work and Chelsea came back.. Went as a grp to LT5 to receive our results.. Most teachers were there too.. Start to feel abit nervous and Haizer keep pulling my ears.. Haha.. Principal's talk.. anad PW yr head talk and back to principal's talk.. results release.. 0.7% C's... A sigh of relieve.. 18.5% B's.. and 80.8% A's.. OMG, this is damn GOOD=D Separated into different LT's.. Mr Lo started with the classes from the back.. then another class.. and nxt is us.. He was like A5.. and he started counting the no. of A's.. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19!!! How many ppl took PW in our class last yr..I thought it was 23 and realised it was 19(How can I be so forgetful when I have always been the one marking attendance)!! We started screaming and hugged one another.. Good Job to A5.. All of us did well!! Acknowledge and left in a hurry.. had to attend CCA.. Saw Miss Low and we thank her... Had dance later on.. had difficult breathing in the studio.. Perhaps cos of the weather.. Had tau huay with dance mates later on..=)

Firstly, wanna thank Mr Lo for helping us all along and willing to sacrifie his time and stay in skool till late for PW consultations.. Thanks a lot=D

Next, wanna thank Miss Low for helping us whenever we are stuck with some ideas... I remember how she helped us when we realised that it is time-consuming and had diffculty interview ppl frm moe.

Wanna also thank Miss Teo for advising us during the intense OP practice session and her contribution when we interviewed her and also Miss Liu for her contribution when we interviewed her..

Wanna thank the other grps in A5 who constantly give us feedback on how to improve and what is lacking during the intense OP practice session..

Last but not least, my 4 other awesome grpmates.. I'm really glad to have all of u in my grp.. everyone's contribution is essential. Ruben who has always been cracking jokes and bringing joy to our grp, Michelle who is always willing to offer her house for us to do PW.. Joey who has always been contributing lots of new ideas to our grp and Joachim the joker who constantly being bullied by the rest..Haha=D A big thank u to all who burn midnight oil just to finish our work.. felt so bad the other time when I fell asleep while having discussion with u all in MSN..

DAMN DAMN DAMN HAPPY=D Did damn well for Geog Lecture Test-Essay... Didn't really expected it.. But for maths, kind of dissapointed.. Oh well, now have to maintain at the range that Mr Teo says...

8th April was dad's birthday.. He picked me up from skool and we went to meet Mummy to buy cake at Hougang Mall.. Went home and we celebrated Dad's birthday.. Then we went Punggol Marina to have seafood for dinner.. It was damn quiet and I love the place.. Ate lots of food.. Fish, prawn, crab and many more.. The leg of the crab was the size of my palm.. LOL.. was so full.. It was an AWESOME DAY!!

9th April was SR Olympics.. Helped out at the Fusion House.. then went to watch the dance item..Track events later on... was hanging out with A5 ppl then went to look for A7 ppl and back to A5 ppl.. Taking photos and stuff.. it's time for 30X200m event.. running for Cetus.. Was the 2nd runner.. Damn tiring.. legs was aching due to wed dance practice.. Finished and went on cheering for the rest.. Go Cetus!! We won 2nd.. Then cheer for the guys.. Anthony ran too.. they won 2nd too.. Went out with Anna, Mel, Nadiah, Haizer and Joachim for KFC.. Then went back to skool with Shaun and Desmond for Dance.. Had SRGCE interview.. Oh, it turns out fine.. Went for tau huay later on with my dancemates.. Had a really long talk.. Love u all=D

Back from Dance Camp.. TIRED!!

Heylo,

I'm BACK from DANCE CAMP!! Fun experience but it mentally and physically drained.. Test my determination..

So what happened??

Yesterday.. Assemble at canteen.. went Fusion House to gather and off to our 'rooms'... Is classroom la.. The place where we slp.. Is B1-3 for us(Me, Marie, Mel, Pearlyn, Eileen, Emeline, Ellen, Nadira, Vivian, Sherilyn, Samantha.....).. Hehe=D Had hiphop lesson from 1pm-3pm.. DAMN FUN!! BOUNCE A LOT!! Haha, upbeat, downbeat, confused beat.. n we also learn a short dance.. Love it...=) Most importantly, we learnt that it requires a long time to get our basics right so there is a need for constant practices.. From 3pm-5pm, we had street jazz lesson.. Very interesting and we learn about the muscle memory thingy.. Also did a short dance... I suck at memorising it.. but then I tried.. 5pm dinner-time.. 6pm.. bonding sessions.. games like whacko n stuff.. plus the murderer thingy.. Haha!! Quite fun!! 7pm-9pm was choreography lesson.. It was held in the hall.. SUPER FUN!! I love the way he taught us.. he goes straight to the point n he show us how simple steps can create variations.. learn three kinds of movement.. Is mostly contemp.. He also show us how each of us can create our own dance.. Dance across the floor.. She damn pro!! Must treat her as my role model, actually she always is =)!! Was standing in a circle and we have to move depending on when we can feel the strength of the magical ball pulling us.. Run around the hall.. Had a small sharing session and watch a few videos.. Continued with SRGCE sharing at 9pm.. that's a totally wrong timing to dance.. Then we had a debrief at 10pm.. Bathing @ 11pm.. the school was damn dark.. had to accompany one another to go to the locker.. Trackers were having some haunted house thingy.. Got scared by them around 5 times. Saw Chelsea, Joey, Fathur n Joachim.. The juniors got a shock when they saw me in the dark cos my skin was too white n my hair was letting down.. LOL!! Write reflection n slept around 1 plus..

Today.. woke up around 6 plus after realising that I bang into Marie.. LOLXD Was playing Sudoku when I was hiding in my sleeping bag.. Physical training at 7.30am.. Warm up and off we go for 3km.. got to run as a team so we have to try n control the speed... took 40mins to complete this and cool down.. Off for breakfast.. hot milo.. Changed.. Choreography lesson by Ellen.. Did Pirouettes, across the floor.. bridge.. bar work.. positions n stuff.. Lunch.. Packed up n we took a short nap at the same time.. back to fusion house at 1pm for choreography session.. Got to choreograph a piece of 20secs dance.. took quite long to choose our song in the studio.. Finally chosen 'bout it' and started choreograph.. A mixture of hip hop and cotemp.. tiring after going through many rounds.. Paired up.. Eileen with Me, Shawn and Yna, Ellen and Marian.. We are suppose to portray anger.. Back to fusion house for a short briefing and went to perfect our steps again .. this time round wif emotions.. Feel more confuse.. cos the steps are much more complicated as compared to other grps.. It was showcase time.. got 6 grps in total.. grp 6 did the chair thingy.. maria's grp brings back childhood memories.. Marie's grp damn emo.. haha n I like it.. So eerie!! Mel's grp was the MJ thingy.. then it was our grp.. got to do twice.. after the showcase, we had a sharing session in a circle.. like and improvements... then there's this activity where each individual are given a no... 1st grp have to convince the others that they are sad.. Ezra and Sherilyn cried.. ah so SAD.. The rule of the game is that if we are convince with the emotions that they portray, we will stand.. Next grp did emo.. OMG.. I so scared that I will start screaming la.. 3rd grp which consists of me have to convince the rest that we are 'sexy' yea.. I mean yes.. SEXY!! Mel was so scared of me la.. hide in 1 corner.. damn scared I act more like slutty than sexy.. We watched the SYF 2007 video n our ex-seniors shared with us some stuff.. Officially break camp and collect belongings.. felt giddy.. thank goodness Daddy and Mummy came and picked me up.. Currently lack of slp and not feeling that well.. bruises AGAIN=(

1 day to Dance Camp... There will be continuous dancing for the entire 2 days.. but then, there's my favourite hip hop and street jazz.. so it will be FUN!!!!!!!!! HW are piling up.. not that I don't wanna clear but the fact that whenever I clear this lot, another lot comes.. SIAO LA!

GP got summary, readings, annotation, compre n stuff..
Maths have to do topical booklet till somewhere far far away specially for us
Geog got some ws thingy and there's an upcoming lecture test..
Econs need to do tutorial pg 18-32... got 2 case study, essays.. grp presentation and a whole lot.....
Chem just cleared the 1st chpt tutorial but here comes a few more.. Haix!!

Is that all?? I bet there will be more coming up...

The next 2 days will be occupied by dance camp so = to no time to complete my work.. aiyo, gonna start burning midnight oil again on thurs onwards..

Realised that I changed a lot as compared to last yr..

Dance has been fine.. Have been busy practising a dance item which is for the July Dance Concert.. My knee has this super BIG bruise.. =( Lessons are fine.. Yesterday was the release of GCE A Level results.. The atmosphere was tensed.. After the principal's talk, we went to LT5 for a short briefing before heading to B2-1 to collect our results.. I was so scared.. thinking that I screwed up my Chinese compo and stuff.. Took the result slip.. Not bad.. Can officially withdraw from CL.. =) Went for dance.. OUCH!! Went with Jin Le and Mel for dinner later on...

This week was like so-so in school. Wed was fine.. escort her to sign withdrawal form.. Had PE, our PE teacher is Mr Kwok (Is this the correct spelling for his name??) Ran 1km.. Geog lecture was kind of slow as compared to last yr, still trying to get use to all the teacher's teaching style.. Michelle and I were lost at the part abt the diff btw ridge n rift.. wanted to ask Mrs Sim, but was finding her name at the paging rm.. took quite sme time, so happen Miss Teo came in, so decided to ask her instead.. Tks for explaining to us.. Econs was cancelled due to a clash in venues.. Clash with A2-5 la.. Anthony and Fathur were so 'enthu' to go for lesson, thinking that our classmates were inside, just open the door and went in.. Heard Mr Diva's voice.. LOL!! A5 was inside and I don't understand what Constance was trying to tell me.. Haha.. Home and back to school for dance.. Did the basic stuff.. new Jc1 dancers joined us.. jumps n stuff n then had a short intro to one another.. 1 interesting thing abt me.. I actually said 'my nick is rock'.. n mel continue explaing cos I like to 'STONE' a lot.. LOL!! Not totally true lorh!! Saw Miss Liu on the way to the locker.. she talked to us.. thanks for her advice.. yup.. will definitely work hard n smart!! Went for dinner wif Hsiao Qi, Mel, Jin Le and Haizer. Had KFC! It was kind of a sending off meal for chelsea cos it was her officially last day in skool.. Was sad but tried to hold back my tears.. actually got over it already, know that as a gd friend, I suppose to respect whatever she does, and thats why I din hold her back.. hope she will do well there.. will miss her a lot!!

School finally officially started.. Celebrate chelsea's bday yest.. I was smashed wif cake too n its cheese cake.. OMG.. damn oily!! Haha!! Had a hard time hiding frm chelsea what's going on.. Photos up another day.. Had dinner wif chels, mel and ale at the coffeeshop which sells punggol nasi lemak.. ate porridge.. =D Home sweet home and collapse at exactly 10pm.. LOL XD

Bro getting more discipline but teaching him seriously make me wanna scold him.. I wonder how my sis tolerate me and him during her A's period..

So settled with same combi.. Know most of the teachers that will be teaching us.. Mr Teo for geog, Mr Chiew for Maths, Mdm Teo for Econs, Miss Tan for Chem and Miss Khaw for GP.. Gonna work very hard and smart this year.. Walked pass A2-5 today and I thought I saw them attending some class but I couldn't see what class they were having.. Geog?? Econs?? Lit?? Phy?? Then I realised they were having geog and I was like OOPs.. LOL.. I thought the teacher was someone else.. Oh no.. need to get a pair of specs soon.. PE ran 1.2km.. wah.. my stamina very bad.. took height and weight.. OMG, still the same and I'm heavier than fathur!! Maths did trigo, partial frac n a short intro of one another.. Gp was intro too n chem was on bridging module.. Ok but sitted very far.. can't really see when chelsea blocked me.. I missed the rest.. but this class is also fun in some sense.. Maybe it takes time to understand one another.. Have been thinking a lot.. About my CCA, results, choices, decisions..

Sometimes I do suspect that there's this freaking discrimination against us.. Use this as a source of motivation to push ourselves and do even better to prove them that they are so wrong.. U took our rights and we'll fight it back..No matter how people view me, I am still who I am.. Perhaps like what they say, we have to sacrifice socialize time.. JC life sucks totally.. Seriously I think I lost my sense of responsibility..

Boring is all I can say for this week.. Finished the proposal with the help from daniel and jasmine on tuesday.. 1 and a half days = 13pgs proposal.. Not bad=) Wednesday we had dance practice.. a short one.. Went through the SYF steps and CNY dance steps.. =D Thursday had to stay back to finish up the souvenirs.. Very rush.. Almost went crazy.. tks Maria, Marian, Jasmine, Daniel, Pris, Jiawen, Felicia, Mel..... and a whole lot of ppl for helping out..=) Aiyo, I was like screaming in the canteen.. Stick and cut until 'SIAO' la!!! On fri, me and jia wen in charge of the booth.. so got to go and help out and set up.. Thanks to all those who help out too.. U all were really great.. Was screaming ' JOIN DANCE' with the band playing their instruments.. Aiyo, little effect.. then we dance in front of the crowd.. A very last min thing to plan and prepare for Dance booth.. but we did it=D 5.20pm start packing up and went to the dance studio to practise A and B of the CNY dance @ LKH.. Hsiao Qi didn't join us for today.. Some ppl tat I know sat beside me during the MRT trip to Chinatown, thank goodness they couldn't recognise me. Angeline and I went to Chinatown wanted to try the claypot rice.. But we couldn't find it.. End up, we ate at the complex.. Ate Fried Kway Teow whike she ate Bak Chor Mee.. Not forgetting SUGARCANE JUICE=)!! Went around shopping.. Bought lots of stuff.. then headed to the Smith Street to look at the CNY stuff.. Din expect Monday to be that crowded.. Very fun but warm =D Ate 杨枝甘露 as dessert=) OMG, the jap mushroom that we try taste damn delicious.. Walked for quite some time before heading back to OG building.. Nothing much, have been commenting on their clothes.. Received a call, was told that I had to be in-charge for the CCA booth thingy, very last min.. Haix!! Home=D Had a convo wif my sis in MSN.. Damn funny and random.. talk abt CNY goodies, then vegetable, powder, oreo, studies, jap mushroom.. LOLXD Last 30 mins of 25th Jan was BUSY and HECTIC... Academic Week

Is academic week for this week.. Lessons were as usual.. Geography was fun.. We watched 'Journey to the centre of the Earth', did presentation and also made our own models.. Our group consists of ruben, vivian, chelsea and angeline make the model of CC-CC convergent.. It was the easiest but due to the lack of plasticine, it wasn't really that perfect.. Ruben insist of putting a snake there to symbolise 'No volcanoes' So random and that the snake is taller than our fold mountains.. As for our fold mountains, it looks like hershey chocolates, LOL XD As for GP lesson, we watched 3 documentary, 'what is that?', 'story of stuff' and some beauty thingy by BBC. NICE=D As for PE, we ran 4km on mon, played frisbee and touch rugby on tue n thurs respectively.. Played badminton on thurs before PE starts.. Hands aching.. We watched 'Freedom writers' on fri.. A nice and inspiring show..=) Dance were as usual, tiring.. I fell down yesterday.. Was so giddy.. Did the 180 degrees split against the wall and hold for 2min + 1min = LEGS ACHING!! Learn a new dance and was practising for our CNY dance..

Miss Liu says that I lost weight.. She thought that I was too stress(even if I am stress, I won't tell anyone too).. I actually didn't realise it.. After looking at the mirror, indeed my face no longer as chubby like the past.. Another person also said that to me.. Not forgetting a whole bunch of friends commenting that I am PALE!! Seriously, I thought that I gained weight after coming back from SYDNEY.. Miss Teo talked to us yesterday during lunchtime.. Asked me whether I still wanna be CT rep tis yr, what a hard question to answer..

Oh, I realised that Miss Goh is leaving SJC for US.. Sad to know that but all the best to her too.. She was really a nice, caring dance and chem teacher.. who often correct me and taught me a lot.. Thanks a lot for trusting me and allowing me to become the President of Dance Ensemble in 2007-2008.. I really learnt a lot from her.. plus the experience we had together with my other classmates for the Green Building Competition and Shell Eco Challenge.. She's a teacher that I will never forget.. Thanks a lot Miss Goh=)

Jia Wen asked me to go with her for ballet lessons, but the thing is that I have no ballet background, only 5yrs of dance background and ballet is not my type, I am more into hip-hop and street jazz kind.. Still considering..

Oh, I thinking of doing some volunteery work, anyone interested? I was inspired by the movie 'Freedom Writers' that shown me that there are many people around the world having their own problems and it might be even worse than ours.. Sometimes we should really think of others and the problems that they faced.. In addition, the Haiti Earthquake recently made me feel helpless.. We can't really do much to help them, so I came to a conclusion that maybe I should start by helping the ppl in our society.. If anyone keen to join me do tell me k? =D

Just another normal day..

Went out with Daddy, Mummy and Sis to a restrauant near Lion City Hotel.. It was my cousin's daughter's 1 month celebration, Yup and that makes me a Auntie again... It was just like a small celebration with 4 tables of relatives.. She has been sleeping throughout the whole event.. There were like lots of dishes.. and ice-cream cake too=) Went to City Plaza with Mummy later on and Daddy came and fetched us.. Mummy bought me a new bag.. =D THANKS=D Went to Auntie's house then off to Courts with Daddy.. Bought a new study table and went to Compass to buy mattress.. Home Sweet Home..

I have been feeling down recently, dunno why?!?! Just hope that those people with that kind of character that I dislike will not appear in my life.. Looking forward to make new friends=) Econs and Maths have been driving me crazy.. My relationship with Maths is like Maths know me but I dunno Maths.. This is totally bad.. What do I really want?? I seriously dunno.. After a msn talk with Ee Seuu makes me feel slightly better.. I dun wan people to tell me what to do but I want to know what I really want.. To me, dance is like a torture now.. 1st week of school..

1st week of school.. fine I guess?!?! Is just talks on monday.. Went for pottery workshop on both tuesday and thursday.. It was something very fun and special.. Make out own sculpture.. The theme was underwater world, I make a underwater volcano, chelsea make a seashell n sushi, angeline make submarine, fathur make arc with rocks, michelle make puffer fish, ruben make spaghetti with meatball(SO NO LINK), and anthony make coral reefs(I think so).. haha=D The environment there was so nice.. quiet yet windy, perfect place=) We had attempts to make bowls too.. It was damn fun.. All of us were like dirty after painting our sculptures.. It is fun hanging out with these bunch of people again, they bring joy to my life.. =) Oh ya, and they tried to squeeze me in the bus towards michelle's direction.. So evil!! Hahaha=D Academic lessons on both Wednesday and Friday.. Just felt that I can easily turn off after some time.. need to work on that..

FOOD.. Our supper

Met Grace, Doro and Karissa on New Year Eve.. Went Carrefour to shop for food and drinks then head to Marina Barrage for a picnic.. Couldn't go in because there's a party going on so we just sat outside.. It was windy.. we ate and talk and took lots of pics.. then we decided not to take the shuttle bus and try to find our way to the Singapore Flyer.. We walked and walked and walked for like an hour or so and end up at the expressway.. It was indeed a nice experience walking along the expressway and thanks to all the officers that guided us the correct way.. We waited and waited and finally it was 2010.. Arh.. we sat at the wrong side and hence we rush to the other side, abandon our bags and stuff and watch the spectacular fireworks.. It was damn nice.. lasted for 5mins.. then Karissa and Grace went to dance while Doro and I went to have supper at Popeyes.. It was packed at the MRT.. Reached home at 2 plus am.. Amazing night with the gals, hope to meet up with them soon..=)

Met Ale and ION Orchard.. She said I lost weight but I disagree.. Haha, I think I put on weight ever since the sydney trip.. I have been fed with lots of food.. even when I am working at Marriott.. We had Christmas lunch and party.. plus all the samples and cookies.. Not forgetting steamboat and home-cooked food.. I'm totally sick of food now.. Miss her, never see her for quite some time.. Chelsea and Melody joined us soon.. We were like saying see whether we have fate to find one another and we did it.. LOL.. Ate at Taka-Jap Noodles then we walked to Cathay Cine.. Went to check the price for kbox and decided not to go there as the session was a bit too long for us: 2pm-7pm!! Decided to watch Sherlock Holmes.. It was nice=) He's damn smart la.. LOL =D Then we went 313@Somerset.. Went Cotton On.. Forever 21.. They wanted to try some clothes but the queue to the dressing rooms were LLLLLLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG!! Continue walking and we went Orchard Central rooftop graden to view the scenery.. A nice view=) Walked to Dhoby Ghaut and we went SPOTLIGHT.. Was like looking at all the weird weird stuff and someone has been hinting to us that her birthday is coming soon... Hsiao Qi went to see a doctor while we continue looking at other stuff.. MRT back home.. Hope to hang out together more often.. It is kind of rare to see the 4 of us out together..

Last Day of 2009!!

This year 2009 will be indeed a memorable one.. I experienced lots of ups and downs.. and I managed to survivie through.. Let's have a look at what happened this year.. I worked and earned quite a sum of money, gave part of them to my parents.. Sent Rena off in Changi Airport.. Missed her but hope she's doing well in trinity college.. have not seen her for quite some time.. Got into SRJC.. wanted to appeal but decided to stay after knowing what it offers me.. Had a chance to apply for SRGCE scholarship, granted an interview to become a student councilor.. Puke during 1st day of school.. What a great start!! Went through Orientation with my CG and OG.. Decided to choose a niche CCA- DANCE!! Went through 4 interviews in total.. 1st: SRGCE Scholarship 2nd: Student Council (Bad memories..) 3rd: SRGCE Sydney 4th: Internship.. Was appointed to become a temp class rep because just so happened I was standing right in front of the line 1 fine day.. Became a scholar.. performer for numerous events such as AYG opening and Teacher's Day.. Got into finals for Mission X and we won!! SRGCE @ Sydney and Intern at Marriott..

Had dinner at Yilin's house on Sunday.. We ate Steamboat.. Bought the food at the NTUC near her house.. was like wondering what we can throw in.. lol.. Played stress afterwards.. was like so scared to play with them.. Haha, I'm very scared that they are so fast that I can't react fast.. LOL XD Went to the park later on.. It was beside the japanese cemetry that I went with my class few months ago.. Ohh.. they say I looked like this white dog.. Later on, headed to Prata House to have prata and ice tea.. 25th Dec was the last day of our internship.. have been working from 7am on the 24th and 25th.. Working with Ah boon, a chef who has been correcting me the way I wrapped the food.. Haha=D Very fun working with them.. There's christmas lunch in the canteen.. delicious.. Had a christmas party later on in the Asam Room.. Lots of food and stuff.. Managers also joined in.. Exchange gifts and ate logcake.. Took Don's gift and Hao Wen took mine.. took lots of pics before heading home.. Thanks a lot to everyone there who have guided me and correcting me whenever I make mistakes.. Had a great time working with them thought working in the F & B is tiring.. All the best to them and hope to see them soon=)

Had our breakfast in the hotel.. Off we go for UNSW.. stomach was feeling horrible.. Had a tour around the University and we visited their dance studio.. Watched some clips of dance performances before heading to the Sydney Dance Company for lunch.. Had burger and it was super HUGE.. Squeeze it in a container and brought it back for supper.. Dancing Time.. It was fun especially dancing to the song 'Singing In The Rain' with a stick.. Changed and we walked to board a monorail.. Alighted at some station which I can't remember and had some time for shopping.. Bought a necklace for someone and then met the rest for dinner.. Had dinner at a Indonesian Restrauant.. The food are nice=D Then we went back to the hotel and had the sharing session..
